Indeed, immune systems can be awesome, but they can also not be as awesome. My immune system is a lot like yours azzer, I rarely get sick even if I share things with people who are, but that is because I strive to stay healthy. Vitamins everyday plus plenty of sleep helps. But plenty of people can't help that their immune system isn't as strong as others and I think cosy is a good example of it, sadly.

I'm from a country where the common way to say "Hi" is to give each other a kiss on the cheek (except between guys...unless it's a member of your family and it's a special occasion...and even then I don't do it...), and of course people are nice enough to tell you if they are sick.
There are few things I have not (and probably won't ever) share with someone else, my main example being my toothbrush. I'm not that afraid of germs when I'm not sick (when I'm sick I kill them all , so I won't feel worse).

Now back to cleaning my apartment.

That would be a little odd to me to do that Red, but that is because I didn't grow up in a place like that. So it probably isn't that odd but to me it would be.

My immune system is nutso. o_O

I'll be perfectly unbelievably healthy for 6 months and then I go through a month long period where I catch every bug going around within 50 miles of my house.

These new Halloween masks better be so sweet :<

Hmm, is that time of year always the same Spookii? If so there could be a variable that you aren't aware of that is causing you to become ill, or it is possible that the time of year you are healthy is just because that is not a time of year that is known for illness. Who knows.

I'm really not sure. It's around now (beginning of winter) and then it'll happen again in late spring/early summer. I used to think it was allergies that would just always lead to respiratory infections but last year I got the flu, too. x_x Coincidence maybe. Blah. Whatever it is. I hate it.

Ya I have seen people like that before Azzer and those that can eat whatever they want and not get fat, example being my brother. Kid is a twig but is rarely sick and eats whatever he wants and doesn't gain weight. Its sick.

It's possible you do have allergies and they lead you to have an immunocompromised state allowing for other infections to affect you since your immune system is dealing with another infection and cannot attack the respiratory infections. Just a thought.

I can pretty much do whatever I want and my body won't answer in a negative way. Except from the cold or the sore throat I get once in a while (which I kind of expect, since I'm too lazy to dry my hair even if it's windy and cold. I'm also too lazy to put something warm...I just love cold (to a certain extent of course...I hate cold water)) I really rarely get sick.
Sometime, when I'm eating a cheeseburger or fries, I pause and wonder "hmm will this cause me a heart attack in the future ? " then I think "whatever, this is sooooo good. Maybe I'll eat some cheerios when I'm in my 20s-30s in case. Or maybe not ^^".

But I don't do any sports...I can run and swim at "normal" speed, so it's all good.

I never knew that cleaning an apartment could take so long...It took longer than cleaning my house. Maybe it's because I don't have the same tools, but 3 hours for something that's as big as my old living room + bathroom...

You dry your hair? What are you, a girl? Use that towel, forget the blow dryer! BE A MAN! I walk outside with wet hair all the time, why? Because I can! I still eat worse than I should but I also work out and try to watch what I eat a bit more now than I used too. Sad but true

I don't clean an apartment, but I do vacuum my room!

I have gone outside with wet hair....got a really nice sinus infection the next week---wont do that again (this was quite some time ago, and that infection I had for 6 months).

we learn our limits...some people can eat whatever and never gain an ounce, others of us just THINK about food and gain 5lbs!

cleaning....dont like to do it, and as such, dont do it as much as it should (and vacuuuuuuming is one of the activities I am supposed to avoid, that and bowling).....

so everyone in the midwest enjoying the wind today???

Me + blow dryer ? I don't think that ever happened. I use a towel...how could you ever think I would waste enough time to blow dry my hair (xD).

I enjoy cleaning when I do it because I want to do it, if I don't I end up doing a bad job.

lol Classic skit there RR.

Good, use a towel like a man! If you go outside with wet hair you deal with it because you are a man!

I like to vacuum, don't know why but I always have.

I can eat and gain some weight if I don't work out or be active if the food is bad enough for me. Usually when I go home and get away from the junk they serve here I lose weight. That is because my moms food is better for me.

Red, the food you eat has nothing to do with heart attacks, yes they say it do, and a very select few it does too.

But IF food would give a heart attack, i would have had like 250 of them by now, and i don't.

i like nothing about cleaning, or making food, i however, do love to play football all the time, and watch it all the time, the problem i have, is out of maybe 50-100 friends (some i talk to more often than others ofcourse) there's 2 guys who like football, and 10 women... but ok, women are fun to take to football, they can really give something.

If you eat a lot of bad food it can. It will build up plaque in your arteries causing your heart to work harder to pump the blood eventually leading to a heart attack/heart failure. Eating lots of bad food for years doesn't mean you will get one soon, your heart can still be strong but working harder than it needs to, usually it is those 50+ that suffer from heart attacks because they are starting to become weaker. Though yes, there are people that can eat the heart attack food and not get one because they workout and stay healthy.

I love playing and watching almost any sport. Its great.

my brother in law died from a heart attack at age 41...you dont need to be 50+, if you have poor dietary habits, lots of stress, smoke, drink....as well as bad genes. ALL of these can lead to coronary artery disease and possibly a heart attack.

I was just using 50+ as a benchmark for those that usually suffer the most heart attacks. It is indeed possible to be 40 or younger and get one if you don't take care of yourself at all.

what I meant is that yes, you need to be aware of what is around you regardless of your age. Diseases like these do not only affect the older people. Having bad habits when you are young might lead to major problems earlier than you might expect them. (and my brother in law was in pretty good shape aside from the family overweight issue---though he worked in a restaurant so smoke was usually present, as well as eating whatever they had on the menu--so a bad diet as well, and yes plenty of stress since he was a troubleshooter).

So be careful of what you do now, it might come back and hit you HARD when you are older (and perhaps not that much older either).
